Ohio city saves $52,000 by getting rid of unused phones
Ohio - An Ohio city said it has found a way to save $52,000 annually by disconnecting hundreds of unused phones for eliminated positions. Dayton officials said an inventory of unused phone lines at 16 city agencies discovered about $4,400 was being spent each month on 234 phone lines no longer being used.
