Cookie swap spans four decades
CRANFORD, N.J., Dec. 22 (UPI) -- A group of seven New Jersey women said the annual Christmas cookie swap they started after college is now in its 40th year.
The women, who range in age from 52 to 63, said the group started when Chris Herbert invited four friends from the New Jersey Teachers College to get together and trade cookies and at one point the group swelled to 12 women, but has since waned as some moved away, The (Newark, N.J.)
