Armored truck robbery goes bad for the crooks

Chicago - Armored truck guards opened fire on two men who tried to rob them, killing one and seriously wounding the other. The Garda truck had pulled up to the Family Dollar to make a pick-up. One of the guards was walking out with a money bag when two men approached. One of the men stepped in front of the guard and put a sawed-off shotgun under his chin. The other man stuck a gun to the guard’s back and grabbed him around the neck. The guard managed to get his own gun and shoot the man in front of him.  A guard in the truck shot the second robber.  More…
