Bedbugs evolving to defeat insecticides

New York - A genetic study of bedbugs, whose numbers have recently exploded, suggests they are evolving to withstand pesticides used against them, U.S. scientists say.  Laboratory tests in the United States, Europe and Africa show bedbugs can survive pesticide doses 1,000 times greater than the lethal level of 10 years ago.  More…
