Woman left two dogs in bitter cold, one froze

Ohio - A homeowner was taken into custody and charged with allowing their dog to die a horrible death.  A tipster called police and when an officer arrived at the home, he discovered a frozen Shih Tzu in the backyard. 38 year old Sandy Hayslett was arrested, taken to the police station and booked. She was released after posting $705 bond. Hayslett is charged with cruelty to companion animals, a second degree misdemeanor.  More…
