Funeral home employees find men sleeping in caskets
Bristol, Tennessee - Employees of a Bristol funeral home found two men napping inside caskets resulting in one man’s arrest and a police search for the second. Bristol police said in a news release that employees working in Weaver Funeral Home’s casket storage facility discovered two men asleep in caskets. When the employees told the men they were calling police, the men jumped out a window. One of the two escapes, but police caught the other and arrested him. Barrett Lance Hartsock was charged with burglary and vandalism over $1,000. Police said Hartsock gave an address of 627 Dixie St., Bristol, Va., but also stated he was homeless.
