Daycare owner is accused of doping kids’ milk

Van Alstyne, Texas - A North Texas daycare owner is accused of doping kids’ milk in order to make them sleepy. According to police, on several occasions Kimberly Lane, owner of the Luv-n-Learning Daycare in Van Alstyne, mixed over the counter antihistamines in a jug of milk and gave it to children in her care to make them fall asleep. The children possibly drugged range in age from 20 months to four-years-old. Luv-n-Learning Daycare was licensed through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Daycare Division, which allowed the facility to care for toddler and pre-kindergarten age children. Kimberly Lane faces a maximum of two years in jail and fines up to $10,000 for each count.  More
