Man borrows woman’s car, sells it on Craigslist

Auburn, California – Police in California said they were searching for a man accused of borrowing a woman’s car and selling the vehicle on Craigslist. Auburn police said Laurel Rudolph, 55, loaned her car to an acquaintance named Jeff Keller or Kellar and she filed a stolen vehicle report when he failed to return the vehicle at the agreed-upon time. The car was found when the Craigslist buyer took it to the Roseville branch of the Department of Motor Vehicles to attempt to register it.  more
