Patrick Swayze has died after a nearly two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Swayze’s publicist Annett Wolf says the 57-year-old “Dirty Dancing” actor died Monday with family at his side. He came forward about his illness last spring, but continued working as he underwent treatments. Talk show host Carson Daly’s girlfriend Siri Pinter is with child.

Daly’s rep confirmed the news saying that “Carson is thrilled to be a father and they are looking forward to an extra special Thanksgiving this year with family and friends.”

Siri Pinter is said to be 5 months in and expecting in early spring.

Siri Pinter is a writer’s assistant for Last Call with Carson Daly and was previously an executive producer’s assistant. Pinter describes herself as an owner of four cats, a cigar aficionado and part time sushi chef on weekends.
