Delmar, Delaware - Authorities in Delaware said a man wanted in Maryland was arrested at a motel after fellow patrons heard him talking on his phone about being sought by police. The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office said patrons at the Traveler’s Motel on Route 13 in Delmar called 911 after hearing Richard Vermalyea, 32, talking loudly on his phone in an adjacent room about being wanted by authorities. Deputies said Vermalyea is wanted on two open warrants. More
